Well, we (MB) are again the murder capital of Canada. After briefly giving up our title to Saskatchewan for 2006, we fought back hard (literally), to win back our title for 2007.
Did you know that Quebec City had NOT ONE homicide in 2007? No one kills anyone else there apparently. What is it about QC that is so anti-murder? Is it the language? The relaxed attitude toward work? Sex? Armpit shaving? Is it laziness? A lasize faire attitude? Is it the attention to basic aesthetics? Art? Government grant money? Is there something in the poutine out there that we dont know about? Does it have something to do with the Canadian Shield and the action of the magnetic fields on the human brain?

Maybe we'll never figure this one out. Its an enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in cheese curd and covered with gravy. I'm hungry.
